Rewilding Australia advocates a science-based trial reintroduction of the Tasmanian devil to mainland Australia for the purposes of establishing a cost-effective mainland insurance population and helping to restore lost ecosystem function.

Saving the devil by using an ecosystem restoration approach on mainland Australia will help to save the devil in Tasmania.
